Although I'm based in South London, the Lucent Team work across London, Surrey, and the whole of the South East, as well as travelling further afield for weddings across the UK. Your bridal preview and wedding day

For many brides, a bridal preview is one of the most important parts of the process. It's an opportunity to spend time with your artist before the wedding, discuss your ideas and try your chosen hair and/or makeup look.

Rather than simply recreating a Pinterest image, we can use the preview to make the look personal to you. We consider how you feel wearing it, make adjustments to tailor the look to you and ensure that you feel confident with the finished result. Then, on the wedding day, we already have a clear understanding of what we're creating.

How far in advance should you book bridal hair and makeup?

I always recommend getting in touch as early as possible, particularly if you're getting married during the popular summer wedding season or on a weekend. Wedding dates can book up well in advance, and this is especially true for dates when multiple artists are required for larger bridal parties.

If you've for a date set for your wedding, then now is a good time to start looking for your bridal hair and makeup. You don't necessarily need to have every detail of your wedding finalised before enquiring. If you know your date, location and approximate number of people requiring hair and makeup, that's usually enough for us to start the conversation.
