Your Bridal Experience
From your first enquiry to the final touch of lipstick on your wedding morning, every part of your Lucent experience is designed to feel calm, personal, and effortless. Here’s how the process works:

Start by completing our bridal enquiry form with the key details of your day and your hair/makeup requirements. We’ll confirm availability and send over a tailored quote for the most suitable artist.

If you’d like, you can book a relaxed chat to ask questions, talk through your ideas, and ease any pre-wedding nerves. It’s a lovely way to connect and make sure we’re the right fit for you.

Once you’ve confirmed your booking with a booking fee, your date is fully secured. You’ll then receive our Bridal Information Pack, filled with everything you need to know, including how to prepare for your bridal preview and wedding morning.

Around 3–6 months before your wedding, we’ll schedule your bridal preview to explore and perfect your desired look. This is a collaborative session designed to ensure you feel completely confident and comfortable with your chosen hair and makeup look.
Please note: Bridal previews take place Monday–Thursday during daylight hours, typically outside of peak wedding season.

Before your day, you’ll receive a detailed wedding morning schedule so everyone knows when they’ll be in the chair. On the day itself, your artist will arrive with plenty of time to set up and create a calm, relaxed atmosphere - no rushing, no stress, just beautiful moments as you prepare to say “I do.”

Alice and her team are based in the South East of England and travel up to 1.5 hours, covering areas across London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and Essex. They are also available for destinations further afield, including international weddings, with travel fees and accommodation required.

Bridal hair and makeup preview appointments take place at Alice’s home in Streatham, SW16. On-location previews may be available depending on your location, with a £60 surcharge plus travel fees required. For team artists, preview locations vary based on the artist’s location.

Depending on the size of your bridal party, wedding day timings, and venue access, we may need to arrange for an additional artist to assist. This will be charged at £150 per artist and included in your quote. All additional artists are trusted, fully qualified, and experienced stylists, ensuring the same high standard of service.
